Subaru Scores Big With IIHS

Subaru Recognized as the Only Manufacturer with All Vehicles Rated a TOP SAFETY PICK by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety.

The IIHS has been on a crusade lately to expose automakers for the high price of repairs resulting from low-speed crashes. Recently IIHS tested the redesigned 2010 Legacy - the result, a rating of "Acceptable". This is the highest rating IIHS has ever issued for a bumper test on a car and the 2010 Legacy is one of only 5 cars ever to receive this rating!  

 

Adding to the good news is the leap Subaru has made in recent years. The 2010 Legacy sustained $3,202 dollars less damage than the previously tested 2007 model. This performance is a true testament to design improvements of the 2010 Legacy

Impreza WRX Named Best Used Vehicle

The Subaru Impreza WRX was listed as best used vehicle in the sport compact segment by Forbes.com. Rankings were based on reliability data from a leading consumer magazine and residual value information from Cars.com and Kelley Blue Book®.

The WRX is projected to retain 59 percent of its manufacturer's suggested retail price after two years and 36 percent after five years.

New Forester Packages and Enhancements

New Forester packages for 2010 expand choices and respond to customer input. The Forester 2.5X Special Edition now includes 16-inch alloy wheels and roof rails.

The Forester 2.5X Limited offers a new Navigation System and Convenience Package, along with first-ever Forester High Intensity Discharge headlights, one-touch folding rear seats, and a cargo-area cover.

Other Forester enhancements for 2010 include standard 10-way power driver's seat for 2.5X Premium and Bluetooth®1 wireless capabilities for the available navigation systems in Limited models.
